Established in 2007, the Clemson Renaissance Center in Greenville, SC, is a portal to the Greenville community for the College of Business & Behavioral Science. Through the Renaissance Center, the College of Business & Behavioral Science engages the business community in projects and conversations on the important business, economiic, and social issues of the day. The Renaissance Center offers graduate students and faculty the chance to work directly with firms, entrepreneurs and leaders to enrich the learning experience for all participants and to accelerate the growth of a stronger knowledge-based economy in South Carolina. -

The Clemson University Research Foundation (CURF) is a 501 (c )3 corporation created to support the Clemson University research and economic development mission. The Foundation's primary responsibility is the management and commercialization of Clemson University intellectual property. Technology transfer is facilitated through the licensing of IP or the formation of start-up companies to exploit the IP. In addition, CURF manages two incubation facilities that support emerging technology companies that require technical infrastructure found more easily in a University setting, i.e. wet labs, technical expertise, equipment.

Our mission is to promote entrepreneurship and small business in South Carolina through the FastTrac, programs. The Upstate Carolina Angel Network, LLC (UCAN) is a group of accredited investors located in Upstate South Carolina who invest in and support start-up and early-stage, high-growth businesses in the Southeastern United States. Our members have a broad array of business experiences and skills they bring in helping to screen and evaluate potential portfolio companies. They also serve as a valuable resource for guidance and advice to entrepreneurs and their businesses once an investment is made. UCAN is not an investment fund, but rather, a network of investors who make individual investment decisions after working together to evaluate candidate companies. Investments are made through single-purpose LLCs made up of UCAN members who wish to make an investment. UCAN is a member of the Angel Capital Association.
